25th International Conference on Computational Science and Applications (ICCSA 2025) https://www.iccsa.org/

This is an invitation to submit a contribution for the:

Computational Optimization and Applications (COA 2025) Workshop of the 25th International Conference on Computational Science and Applications (ICCSA 2025) will be held on June 30 – July 3, 2025 in collaboration with Galatasaray University, Istanbul, Turkey.
ICCSA 2025 plans to offer in-person participation but there is also the possibility of online participation.

TOPICS

The scope of the Workshop is to bring together scientists working in Computational Optimization and its applications in science and engineering.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

  • Computational Optimization: new issues in computational algorithms for continuous and discrete optimization; deterministic and stochastic algorithms, nature-inspired algorithms and other metaheuristic algorithms for solving optimization problems.
  • Applications: case studies in all areas of sciences, engineering and industry, including economics, medicine, biology, earth sciences and social sciences.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • March 31, 2025: Deadline for paper submission to the COA Workshop.
  • April 20, 2025: Notification of Acceptance
  • May 8, 2025: Submission deadline for the final version of the Proceeding Paper (hard deadline)
  • May 8, 2025: Registration and payment ends (hard deadline)
  • June 30 - July 3, 2025: ICCSA 2025 Conference

PROCEEDINGS

The proceedings of the COA 2025 Workshop will appear in the Springer-Verlag, Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Please consult https://www.iccsa.org/instructions-for-authors and https://www.springer.com/it/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines for formatting information and templates.

FULL PAPERS

The submitted paper must be between 12 to 18 pages long for LNCS publication and should be formatted according to the LNCS rules.

SHORT PAPERS

Reporting preliminary results of ongoing research. The submitted paper must be between 8 and 11 pages long for LNCS publication and formatted according to LNCS rules.

Each paper must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under the responsibility of the authors). Each paper will be reviewed by at least three experts in the relevant field.

SUBMISSION DETAILS

To submit a paper, please connect to the Submission site from the link available at the ICCSA 2025 website: https://ess.iccsa.org.  You can find the instructions to prepare and submit papers on the web site (http://www.iccsa.org/instructions-for-authors).
Authors will be able to update the paper until the submission deadline.
