A3ES Acredition
On November 14 of 2020, the Assessment and Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (A3ES) unconditionally accredited MEH, for a period of 6 years, in accordance with the recommendation and justification formed by the corresponding External Evaluation Committee. More information on the reports compiled by A3ES.

Certifications
This program is certified by the Authority for Working Conditions (ACT) within Law No. 42/2012, of August 28, as a training program of Higher Technician of Occupational Safety (TS ST).
Students who complete the program are allowed the complimentary participation, entitled to benefit from a individual certificate on:

  • SHO International Conference, usually held in Guimarães (http://www.sposho.pt/sho-2017/)
  • In circa 5 seminars in related subject areas, lectured by prestigious speakers (national and international).
  • A Basic Life Support (BLS) workshop.

Brief description
The technical and scientific domain of Human Engineering is recognised nowadays as an important element of a modern and efficient industrial management. It is no longer possible to conceive the efficient management of any type of industrial or services system without the application of the techniques and methodologies integrated across various disciplines which make up the area commonly known as Human Engineering.
 
The purpose of this program is to provide post-graduate level education on the field of Human Engineering, having as core topics the subject areas of Ergonomics and Occupational Safety and Hygiene, to provide qualified technicians to companies. Therefore, legal requirements are met, while contributing to their sustained development, improving working conditions.
