Collaboration
 
The DPS has developed links with industry in the areas of Applied Statistics, Logistics, Socio Economic and Regional Studies, audits of Hygiene and Safety, and audits of Occupational and Environmental Noise.
The supervision of applied MSc theses has also strengthened the collaboration of the department with the industry. The main areas of these partnerships include: Quality, Certification and Industrial Maintenance, Production Management, Planning, Control and Optimisation, Ergonomics, Costs and Industrial Strategies, Statistics and Numerical Methods.
