Dear Quality Researchers and Practitioners,

After the successful organization of 1st International Conference on Quality Engineering and Management, in Guimarães, Portugal, in 2014, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 2nd edition of the ICQEM that will take place at the University of Minho, again in the historic city of Guimarães, Portugal, in July 13-15, 2016.
The conference includes keynote speeches, parallel technical sessions and a number of social and networking events, including a conference dinner. The 2nd edition keynote speakers will include: 
 - Eric Rebentisch, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA
 - Jiju Antony, Heriot Watt University, UK
 - Lars Sörqvist, Sandholm Associates AB, Sweden
 - Marco Reis, University of Coimbra, Portugal

This event combines two areas that are not usually brought together: Quality Engineering and Quality Management. We hope that the results of our effort will translate into a successful venture, making gradually of this conference an important scientific event in the field of Quality.
