The Department of Production and Systems received a visit from the Erasmus+ ReCap 4.0 project consortium – Reinforcing Non-University at the Tertiary Level in Engineering and Technology to Support Thailand Sustainable Smart Industry (http://recap4. ait.ac.th/), as part of a group meeting held between 25 and 28 March at the School of Engineering of the University of Minho (Azurém Campus).
During this visit, representatives from various European and Thai universities participating in the project had the opportunity to learn about some of the flagship projects developed at #DTxCoLAB, focusing on Industry 4.0 and the development of collaborative robots (cobots).
The team had the opportunity to visit IKEA Industry in Paços de Ferreira, where we were kindly welcomed by Marta Morais.
During the week, coaching sessions were also held for some of the project’s training modules, and meetings of the project’s executive committee took place.
